U2 have resumed their world tour in Italy after frontman Bono's swift recovery from a serious back injury.
Bono hit the stage for the first time since sustaining a back injury in May.
He had to undergo emergency surgery to save him from possible paralysis.
His injury meant that the band were forced to postpone their gigs in the US and their Glastonbury festival headline slot.
The singer broadcasted his thanks to his fans on stage in Turin for "all the love and letters you've sent me in recent months."
He added: "That's in the past now and I'm very much fit for the future."
