Last week it was confirmed that Piers Morgan will take over Larry King's flagship chat show in the US.
And already talk has turned to who will replace the former newspaper editor on the Britain's Got Talent judging panel.
The latest reports suggest that it will be James Corden – star of comedy series Gavin and Stacey.
The 32-year-old comedian and actor is believed to have caught the eye of the man behind BGT, music mogul Simon Cowell, after he performed his World Cup song Shout on the show in June (pictured).
Should he take the job, James, 32 - currently filming The Three Musketeers with Milla Jovovich and Orlando Bloom – would only need to commit a few weeks a year to the programme.
A source told the News of the World: "James is up for doing it. And Simon thinks he has the charisma and humour to carry the panel, especially if Simon leaves the show as well."
Fellow comedian Peter Kay has also been named as a possible replacement.
