There have been rumours for years, and this week it's finally been announced that Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen is to play Freddie Mercury in a film about Queen.
The band's guitarist Brian May confirmed the news this week during a BBC radio interview.
He said: "Sacha has been on this project since we started talking about it seriously with (Frost/Nixon scriptwriter) Peter Morgan a couple of years ago."
The film will begin shooting next year and will focus on the band's history leading up to Live Aid in 1985.
Sacha – who modelled his character Borat's look on Freddie – apparently beat Johnny Depp to the role.
