Teary Jennifer Grey: 'Patrick was young and gorgeous'

Performing on Dancing with the Stars this week proved emotional for actress Jennifer Grey, as she remembered the tragic loss of her Dirty Dancing co-star Patrick Swayze.

The pair shot to fame together in the hit 1987 film and remained good friends. However, Patrick passed away last year after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer.

Jennifer broke down in tears during rehearsals for the US show after learning she would be performing a Viennese waltz to a ballad that had featured on the movie's soundtrack.

The 50-year-old told dance partner, Cheryl Cole's pal Derek Hough: "It took me back in a time capsule, and I was with Patrick. I just missed him. He was like you, young and gorgeous."
