Beyonce and her baby Blue share a tender kiss and cuddle

Both looking beautiful in blue, Beyonce has shared an intimate moment with her daughter Blue Ivy. Part of a set of personal images posted by the singer on her website, the photograph offers a glimpse into family life for the star, her husband Jay Z and their adorable little one.

With her face protectively turned away from the camera, rarely seen Blue Ivy sits comfortably in her mother's arms. The youngster, who will be one in January, will no doubt celebrate her first birthday in appropriate style.

In another photograph posted by the 31-year-old pop sensation baby Blue is being carried by her famous father down a tree-lined path. The black and white image, taken on a sunny day, echoes that of the 99 Problems rapper craddling his newborn that was released when she ws first born. In the days following his new found parenthood Jay-Z released Glory, a song dedicated to his daughter.

Due to the fact that the 2-day-old baby's cries could be heard on the record, Blue was credited on the single and as advertising for the new song popped up across the country, she entered the record books as the youngest person to ever appear on a billboard.

Ten-month-old Blue Ivy also has family members lining up to take care of her when her parents need some time off. Beyonce's sister, Solange, revealed to an American magainze that "Blue comes over, I babysit" adding that her own son, Julez, is often looked after by his famous aunty in return. "Beyonce takes Julez sometimes for the weekend" Solange added. "Blue and Julez are going to grow up more like sister and brother than cousins."

 

Along with the images of her gorgeous baby, Beyonce also left a Thanksgiving message for her fans. Written in blue pen the note reads "From my family to yours, wishing you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving, Beyonce." Clearly a family orientated lady, Beyonce also recently released a photograph of her 31st birthday cake iced with the phrase "Happy B'day Beyonce, Jay and Blue."

The Crazy in Love singer gave birth in January this year, four years after tying the knot with her rapper love, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter. Following their union, the former Destiny's Child star officially changed her surname to Knowles-Carter.

 

With babysitting duties sorted the couple then faced issues of another kind. In October the pair lost a legal battle to trademark their infant's unique name. The power couple had filed legal papers to protect their daughter's name soon after her birth in order to launch a range of baby products and clothes with her moniker. But they lost out to a small wedding planner based in Boston, Massachusetts who had called her company Blue Ivy in 2009.

Texas-born Beyonce met her Brooklyn love in 2002 when they collaborated on their hit 03 Bonnie and Clyde and the pair's relationship went from strength to strength. In one of the few time she has opened up about her marriage she said "What Jay and I have is real. It"s not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It"s real."
