Only a few months before turning 70 and Mick Jagger is still every bit the rock and roll star.
The charismatic lead singer of the Rolling Stones is in the midst of a tour to celebrate the legendary band’s 50th anniversary.
Along with bandmates Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts, the rockers, who have a collective age of 273, have wowed die-hard fans with energetic renditions of old classics.
Despite his phenomenal fortune and string of luxurious properties dotted around the world, Mick is seemingly not content to live the lifestyle of the idle rich and continues to perform with as much gusto as ever.
His career spans five decades and has seen him linked to a host of beautiful women, amongst them Marianne Faithfull, Bianca Rose, Marsha Hunt, Jerry Hall, Carla Bruni and Luciana Morad.
He has been with 6’4” fashion designer L’Wren Scott for ten years but recently admitted he had no plans to tie the knot for a third time.
Some of his seven children have gone on to rival their dad in the fame stakes. Having inherited his striking features and impressive pout, daughters Jade, Elizabeth and Georgia have all graced the catwalk and forged successful careers in the industry.
He has plenty of stories to tell his three grandchildren, having performed with some of the biggest names in the world of pop including B.B. King, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, U2 and David Bowie.
Offstage, Mick has turned his hand to acting, solo performances and film production.
In 2003 his immense contribution to music was recognised when he was made a Knight Bachelor for his services to music. Some fans were disappointed that the now Sir Mick had ditched his anti-establishment stance and conformed to the mainstream.
There is no doubt that the Stones frontman will not be enjoying some quality time with his family and friends this Christmas, enjoying the festivities and exchanging gifts.
