The daughter of a director father and TV actress mother, it's little wonder that Hattie Morahan ended up on her chosen career path. The London-born star made her debut aged 16 in the BBC's India-set drama The Peacock Spring and has since won notable roles in the channel's hospital drama Bodies and the new adaptation of the Jane Austen novel Sense And Sensibility. On the film front, Hattie has shared a set with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig on the forthcoming fantasy adventure The Golden Compass and has also worked with Jason Stratham on heist movie The Bank Job. After taking to the stage and trying her hand at directing while studying English at Cambridge University, Hattie has also treaded the boards in several shows, including the Royal Shakespeare Company productions of Night Of The Soul and the Royal National Theatre's version of The Seagull.
