Love in London for Norwegian royals Mette-Marit and Haakon
30 JULY 2012
Thanks to the
Olympic Games, London has become the centre of the universe for the next three weeks.
But amid all that bustling energy, Norway's Crown Prince
Haakon and his wife
Mette-Marit still only have eyes for each other.

The pair seemed very affectionate as they watched the women's swimming during the first round of events on Saturday. Haakon gave his wife a gentle shoulder rub, while she in turn laced her fingers through his in a tender show of unity.
Earlier, the royal couple were all business as they attended a young global leaders debate at London's City Hall.
Mette-Marit and her husband join a host of European royals who are
out in force to support their countries during the Games.
Monaco's Prince
Albert and his wife
Charlene were perhaps the most animated couple in the Aquatics centre.
Their boundless enthusiasm is, of course, due to the fact that Charlene used to compete as a
professional swimmer herself.
The South African-born princess competed for her country in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
She also qualified for the Beijing Olympics, but retired from professional swimming because of injury before the Games kicked off in 2008.
