Up until now Jamie Campbell-Bower has hovered on the edge of the Hollywood spotlight with small parts in Guy Ritchie movie RockNRolla and horror musical Sweeney Todd. Now the London-born actor's star is set to rocket after he's landed one of the main parts in the Twilight sequel.
The 20-year-old has signed up to play Cassius in New Moon - the second adaptation from author Stephenie Meyer's hugely-popular novels. His character, who is the leader of the Italy-based vampire Volturi gang, is central to the plot of the new project, which has already begun shooting in Canada.
Former model Jamie isn't the only new addition to the Twilight cast. The Secret Life Of Bees actress Dakota Fanning, 15, will play Jane - a member of the Volturi gang with psychic powers. Directing the new flick is Chris Weitz, the New York-born film-maker behind The Golden Compass and About A Boy.
